How to prepare for the GED Tests
There are many ways to help you prepare for the GED Test.
* Enroll in a free local adult education program. Your academic
strengths and will be assessed to determine if you are ready to take the
GED test or if you need more instruction.
* If you cannot attend a local program, tune in to the GED on TV
broadcast on the New Jersey Network, two times a day, from 5:30-6:00 AM and 1:30-2:00 PM. The program is aired in English on Monday, Tuesday,
Saturday and Sunday and in Spanish on Wednesday and Thursday.

* Take advantage of on-line GED preparation and instruction. For a

What to expect: Contact either the Paterson or Clifton office by telephone
to arrange for a welcome session to learn about all the services that are offered, orrequest an appointment with a counselor who will provide career guidance and discuss the options available to you. If interested in training, you may be asked to take a basic skills test, research labor
market information, or visit several training providers. Be sure to mention that you are eligible for the 9/11 Fund Employment Assistance
